Burtons Bridal--- past brides who've used them

I tried running some searches on here for the bridal portion (not flowers) of Burton's but didn't come across that many hits (and a bunch were from 2007 and earlier).

I'm just trying to get a sense of any PROS/CONS from them. (I did visit already and I know its not really the bridey-bride experience and they are more no frills but that is okay with me; i had a great experience thus far.)

I'm mainly look for info on alterations/fittings? How were they/any issues/problems/raves?? And anything else you might be able to add.

Dresses took a while to get in but it wasnt too late or anything.
Alterations were fine. I noticed a couple of loose strings the day i was picking my dress up and Anna fixed it right there.
You are right, they are not happy people, but they will beat anyones price. At the time that the most important thing to me because I was on such a tight budget, but looking back now im thinking it would have been nice to have that 'bridal' experience. No big regrets, they stuck with what they said and all dresses came out beautifully.

I actually loved my Burton's experience. The alterations were fantastic - not one problem at all. By the end of the night, however, my bustle broke but that was because DH kept stepping on me!

The prices were great - the service was great. They were also very personable to me and I even got a great big hug from Carol when I picked up my dress.

going to say yes to the dress by the end of January and this just helps clarify some things! (hopefully!)

I had a custom-made dress and Carol was great. The dress came out beautiful - awesome job with alterations.
