I was wondering what Burton's is like - for wedding gowns. I've heard a lot about it, but never been there. Is it a boutique? A store? Warehousey, like similar to RK Bridal?
Do they do their own alterations? Do they cap alterations?
TIA!!

Re: Burton's Bridals
Burtons is nothing like RK Bridal. Burtons has a very limited selection. It is basically a two level house and floral takes up the first floor and upstairs is the dresses and the seamstress and a small changing room. They are great on prices so if you know what you want you can call them and they can get it for you for a lower price than most bridal places

I got my gown at Burton's, Carol is very nice. I can not remb. if there was a cap on alterations. They did a perfect job on alterations. I got the cheapest price for my gown at Burton's. I saved about $200. Like PP it is a very small house. GL

I had an idea of the dresses I wanted to try on and luckily they had them in stock - they are so much cheaper than anywhere else.
As far as alterations - all alterations are included i the price of the gown (except the bustle which is either $100 or $150 depending on the type).
So far, they've been an absolute pleasure to deal with.

ive been there for BM dresses twice and will probably get mine there. like the others said, its very small and if you can avoid going on a saturday i would cuz the ladies can get a little snippy cuz its so crowded on the weekend. they def pull through with the lowest prices so if you know what you want they can work out great for you

they are very small- they are the best on prices but not really the place to go and try on a bunch of dresses cause they are limited..... but i knew the style # of the dress i wanted and called around everywhere for the best price- they were $400 cheaper then everywhere else..... i just ordered my dress on Friday and yes they do do alterations and are very nice!!

I got my dress from Burtons!! It's a Demetrios that I found at Macys and then called around to try to get a cheaper price. Well I found the same dress at Burtons for $600 cheaper!! It's small but if they have what you want it's so worth it.
