a) How much did alterations cost you at Burton's bridals? What was done specifically? b) If you purchased your slip there, how much did it cost?

When I inquired about this for the Eve of Milady , the woman I spoke to said they don't charge for bodice alterations, just length...I would assume that would apply to all dresses...

I think I remember ALL alterations included EXCEPT Hem and Bustle.

That is true - they also charge for lingerie straps. Be careful when it comes time to alterations - they like to rush you and out make sure you are comfortable and that they fit the dress right. The day of my wedding i had to use safety pins to hide my bra because they wouldn't listen to my concerns of how they fit the dress.

Yup, that's what they told me. Bustle charge was based on style (regular or french), and hem charge based on whether bottom could be cut, or dress had to be pulled up from the waist.

I think my alterations were between 150-200 - I was a bustle and lingerie straps. I didn't get my slip there - i borrowed that from a friend

I was just there today......
I orderd my dress about 2 weeks ago and i just orded my BM dresses this past weekend.
I got a really good price on my Mori Lee dress and she gave me a really good disocunt on the BM dresses because I got my dress there.
The bustle is between $55-$65 more if you want the french bustle.
The hem is also between$55-$65
The alterations for BM dresses is capped at $45.
