I was told of a place out east called Burton's. they have great wedding dresses there, but i don't know where they are or if they have a web site. does anyone have any info on this place?? Thanks.

Burtons is located in Melville on Old Walt Whitman Road. I ordered my dress from there. Its a small place, but the service and prices were wonderful!!!! They carry Demetrios, Private Label by G, Maggie Sottero, Paloma Blanca and a few more. Def worth checking out! I dont have the website but I know their number is 631-424-3377

I also got my dress from there (Paloma Blanca). They can get most dress designers. Once you find the dress you love, call them and see if they can get it for you. They will give you a cut rate.

OUT EAST! LMAO!! So many people refer to any location East of Syosset as 'out East'... I love that!!!
But- yes- it is located right next to the Lighthouse lol in Melville on Route 110 like the above poster stated.
I ordered my gown from there after I rec'd a horrible attitude from the salesperson at Bridal Reflections. I had cash in hand that day prepared to buy my gown and flat out SHOWED them the money and said 'now watch me walk out that door and spend it somewhere else!' it felt good- It was like a Julia Roberts/Pretty Woman moment
Anywho, Burton's was great... Carole was the person I dealt with and they were fantastic from start to finish. I told her the designer of the gown I fell in love with at Bridal Reflections, the color I wanted and of course, style number. She ordered it for me and then even ordered all of my BMs gowns too And I saved a bundle so the woman who gave me a 'tude did me a big favor-- about an $850 favor! Upgrade!
The best part about the whole process (besides saving the moolah!) was the fittings and alterations. They cap them at only $150 for the Bride and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND in this department. Since I am 'breast tissue challenged' lol they worked their magic with my gown to make me look like I have boobs- it was amazing and the dress fit like a freaking GLOVE-- it was wonderful and I cannot recommend them enough. There was no 'pulling up' all day long and adjusting and all that jazz-- not a single thing. I felt so comfortable I could have ran TRACK in that thing!
