Hello, I am new to this site. I am wondering if anyone has rented or is renting a bus to transport guests? I need to rent a coach bus to get my guests from Wantagh to The Thatched Cottage in Centerport. Does anyone know aprox. to cost for a wedding charter?

coachman is great located in woodbury i think but they are taking us from bayside to deer park to northport and back to bayside at the end of the night.
We booked them for 4 hours before the wedding and three after.....
it is a 56 pass coach bus...
it is costing us about 1200 i think???

I charter a bus for my students every year from Long Island to Rochester and back. It costs about $1600 each way other school pay about $4500 round trip. They are the the least expensive bus company anyone has found. Try Adirondack/New York/ Pine Hills Trailways. If you can't find the number FM for more info.

I don't want to scare anyone but I do not recommend Coachman. We had trouble with them at my wedding. FM me for more info

We booked with Alert busses. I heard about them on this site, and after looking into many companies, they had the best price. Two trips between Woodbury and Glenwood for about 1000 including gratuity:)

The other option is getting the shuttle buses or vans....you can get each for about $70 and hour and they hold up to 15 guests. I know it isn't the nicest way to go, but it works.
Try Cruise Control limos....they have the vans and Tony, the owner is able to get some discounted rates on the coach buses. The party bus isn't very expensive either!

i've been looking for OOT guest transport, too, although I will have too few guests for a large bus. So, as I searched town-car companies, an ad appeared for Super Shuttle.
I just now called and got an AWESOME quote for an 11-passenger van ($135 for one-way trip within the same borough). Or, you could charter 1 van for $75 per hour (2 hour minimum).
They may also have larger buses, so give them a call. Here's the number: 1-800-622-2089, choose option 2 (15-50 guests). They're open M-F, 9am-9pm.
