How does this exactly work? Is it some sort of button that the train attaches too or is it something you pull or what?

Re: bustle
Hi Kat it can either be buttons or ribbons to hold it up...

Re: bustle
I am very concerned about my bustle. I am getting my dress altered by a lady who barely speaks English. But she tried her best to explain to me, that there will be some sort of white ribbon hidden, and a clasp. If anyone can explain better, I would appreciate it too.

Re: bustle
My friend had a very complicated bustle but it was very easy to do. There were colored ribbons under the dress and you matched up the colors and tied them!

I had something similar...
My bustle was a french bustle...the seamstress sewed in ribbons and loops and color coded them.
When it came time to bustle my dress...my MOH pulled the color coded ribbons through the loops and tied them.
This makes the back of the dress bustle up into a poof.
It looked awesome!!!!

Oh OK so it it like a window shade or something...that sounds cool! The dress I got has a semi cathedral train and it needs to be bustled. I just was not sure how it worked. Thanks!
