Re: bustle
Do you have a picture of your dress? My train detaches so I would have to see what you dress looks like to describe. Usually the train should have some detail at the end so when you bustle it should show up.

So, what will happen is there is a button pretty close to the bottom of the train and it buttons to the waist area and all of the detail at the bottom of your train will come up and match the rest of your dress. I promise you will not lose the detail. Hope this helps.

Re: bustle
Pretty much bustles can be done in many different ways- there is bustle bio on the knot - not sure of the link - but a simple bustle is taken from about the middle of the back of the dress and buttoned or tied up so that you see the detail at the back of dress hanging straight down
PS- I love your dress -who is it by

Re: bustle
hey bebe -
They said we could do a straight bustle (at the hip) or a french bustle that gathers at the bottom (like in my avatar picture ...) ... I am going to wait until I go for my first fitting to decide but I think I'm going with the tradition (at hips) bustle so that the deisgn is shown correctly!
The straight bustle they would take the dress right in the middle o the bottom would show ...

My dress doesn't have detail on the train but I think the style will work for you. It has ties underneath the dress so you don't see anything. I think the majority of your detail would show on the bottom part. There are many styles of bustles where you'll see your detail. Here's photos of mine to give you an idea -
