Bustle

Bustle

I had my first fitting today and had a choice of any bustle I wanted. DIdn't really think of it until the seamstress asked me. She showed me different options and finally decided on a 3 point over bustle. Now reading more about it online--(should've done my homework before I went) I'm reading that the french bustle if more popular and all. I'm now scared that I made the wrong decision. And if I changed my mind about it, I would have to pay an extra fee. Is one really better than the other?

I dunno if one is better then the other. My seamstress actually did half and half so you would see all the detail work on the train. I really think it all depends on the work that is on the train and how your dress is. If you liked it with the 3 points then leave it i don't see any reason to change it!

I think it definitely depends on your dress and the detail on the train. My sister had beautiful embroidery down and along the bottom of her train. If she had gotten a french bustle she would have hidden all of that detail so she got a 3 point bustle and it was beautiful!

The bustle really is dependant on your dress. It should show off the back of your dress in the best way possible. Not every bustle style works with every dress.
Depending on the dress and the beadwork or style the bustle will be different.

I think it all depends on the dress too. If you liked the way it looks that is all that matters.
