As far as the price, they charge you by how many points your bustle requires and it's prob something like $20 a point, well depending on where you go.

mine also had a removeable train but I loved my dress I bustled it! I really don't know how much they charge but it probably does depend on your # of points like previously mentioned.
If I recall mine was maybe $150, I think.... there were a several buttons... etc.

Mine was $200 i think - it was 6-7 points (double french). Depends on your dress.

Re: Bustle For Gown?
I had a 19 point French bustle and it was around $195. Figure about $10 per point.

Re: Bustle For Gown?
Is the bustle an additional price on top of the alterations??? If it is, I am wayyyyyy overbudget with my dress lol.... So far the dress has cost me $1,400.... when I only wanted to pay about 1,000.... alterations I think she said cap at $240 or something.... so it would be another $150 for the bustle ON TOP of the alterations price?? If it is.... WOWWWWW

The bustle price is not included in the alterations. sorry.
You probably won't need $240 worth of alterations. My alterations capped at $300 but since I only needed to have the sides taken in, it only cost me $95.
my bustle wasnt extra...it was included in with my alterations which were about $320

haha, I only needed the sides taken in on mine as well, and they still charged me up until the cap. $250 something dollars.
I had a regular bustle, not the french one, and it cost $80. I didn't even think about the alterations lol I remember after we got the dress and I tried it on for the first fitting it hit me then that I would need like $500 for alterations put aside.

It depends on where you buy it from. Most places have an additional bustle charge, but a few include it in the cost of your alterations.

Re: Bustle For Gown?
I paid $65 for the bustle at Burton's Bridals. I got my dress there, so it might be a little more if you got it somewhere else - not sure. I posted a pic from one of my fittings. Oh and it stayed up all night - I only had one loop that came off a few times!
mine was included in alterations price. Plus there was only really one way to do it, since there was alot of detail on the train, there was one way to display it and couldnt do much else
