I got my dress from RK. When I tried it on, it had a bustle and the girl showed me how it looked and everything. Now, I am reading a bunch of posts that say you pay per bustle. I thought the dress came with the bustle. Do any dresses come with it? Or do you have to have the seamstress create one?

I am getting my dress altered at RK. Its a pay one price deal regardless of how much altering that needs to be done so I am not paying separately for my bustle.
I think you would need to ask your seamstress or whomever is doing your alterations.

I am getting mine altered at RK also. I don't remember them offering me a pay one fee option, but I could be wrong.

I think the seamstress always has to create one. I am doing a simple overbustle so it shouldn't be that expensive

I didn't think that any dress came with a bustle because they are custom. I can see if you had a hollow hem dress there might be a slight chance that it will come with a bustle but the bustle really is determined ont eh style you choose and how they make it depends on the extra lenght and you height. If someone say 5'6 would of gotten the same dress and bustle as me (being 5'1) they would of grabbed different parts of the train to recreate it. I'd question them if that was really your dress? BTW what designer was it. I'm pretty sure if you get teh designer you can call them and ask if it comes pre-bustled or not?

A bustle is usually made for you -- because it has to be adjusted to your height.
You dress might have a pre-made bustle, I know there are a few out there.
Alterations at RK are fairly fixed: Bustles, Hem, and taking in the top are all included in the price.

I got a mon cheri dress. I guess it comes with a bustle just to show you what it would look like. Great, so now I also have to decide which bustle I want? decisions, decisions, decisions....
