bustle question

I have a ballgown and was just wondering how everyone is wearing their bustle if they have a chapel or sweep train on a full a-line or ballgown dress. I would love to have some sort of bustle that looks like it isn't there (can these thigns actually fold under?) but almost all of the ones i see pin the train up and then it folds over in layers. Anyone have any pics or doing something different? One person mentioned a French bustle but I don't know what that is.

Re: bustle question

My dress is A-line with a Cathedral Length train. I'm getting a French Bustle. It's very elegant looking. I don't like the normal bustle. It looks ugly to me. I believe if you do a search, someone recently posted a picture of a French Bustle. It's really pretty. With my train it works really nice. The funny thing, is that I never wanted a train at all. Go figure. I end up with one of the longest one's!

Re: bustle question

Angie you have a ballgown dress with a train? The dress I am in love with is a ballgown but no train. I want some kind of train and I don't think the designer will make the dress differently. I was told that the dress wouldn't look right anyway with a train because its so round. Is this true?
