Re: bustle question
sorry if this is stupid but wouldn't the unbustled dress get in the way of the dancing, especially if you're slow dancing and making circles?
i'll be doing my first dance bustled

Re: bustle question
I'm gonna bustle it before the reception. Theres no way I could do my first dance with that train dragging.

My train is long enough that I could drape it over my arm

After the first dance.
Since we got married at 2PM on a Friday, many family & friends couldn't make the ceremony so I wanted everyone to see my dress.

those are my thoughts exactly! I want people to see my dress. I can walk in with it still down, drape it over my arm for the dance, or leave it... we don't have some crazy choreographed dance, and then after the first dance bustle it i think

Re: bustle question
i had it bustled. one thing to think about is how long it will take to get bustled
we didnt go to CH, so it made more sense to just have it bustled then (after pics) and enjoy the reception
if you plan on bustling it after your first dance it might take some time away (depending on how complicated your bustle -- mine had 14 hoops!)

We are going to CH. IDK I guess I will just decide that day if it's bothering me I'll put it up. I don't know the total count of hooks, ties, and loops yet all I do know is there were a LOT of pins being put in

Mines like that too!!! But I want people to see my dress! We don't have a dance like you and Mike did though.. .I'm sure we'll just sway in a circle.. (very exciting right )
