Bustle the gown?

Do you bustle the gown during the cocktail hour, before you get announced into the reception hall? Or do you do it after your first dance? Thanks!

I bustled mines right before going into CH. If I wouldn't have, it would have gotten stepped on a million times before going into the reception.

I did mine right after the ceremony. We had already taken most of our pictures already and were heading to cocktail hour so I wanted it out of the way.

right after the 1st dance, also took the veil out then.

during the short time we were in CH, all i heard was crunch crunch from stepping on my dress... but when i looked at it afterwards, didnt seem affected/ messed up.

I did mine right after all the pictures and right before cocktail hour. I didn't want people stepping on it. (They did anyway!)
