Bustles

hello ladies!

i am wondering which way would be most flattering to pick up my dress and bustle it.

i believe my seamstress suggested the 3 point bustle but i have a sash that i will make into a loose knot and might pin up with a brooch. the bustle also has some strings in the back to help hold up the bustle.

any suggestions? what are you ladies doing and with which type of dress?

omg, that sounded like german to me haha. i haven't even started dress shopping so 'the bustle' is foreign to me, lol.

it all depends on the dress! your seamstress usually knows whats best!

It all depends on your dress. I like the bustles that go underneathe the dress as opposed to on top. I recommend 5 point bustle if you have a lot of dress. I had a friend who had a 3 point and it didn't hold threw the night because the dress was too heavy. The seemstress doesn't always know. They just do what they are used to doing. So do some research....ask around. The more the better though in my opinion!
