When does the dress get bustled.
My family saying after first dance, i thought before entrance?
I'm thinking its an old school thinking they are using.
My train semi cathedral -- so there is a lot of dress!!
Omg, it's only 6 days away, crazy!

All the weddings I've been in the dress got bustled after the first dance. But it's your day so do what you want.

I have always seen it bustled after the ceremony or when the pictures are done. Always before the bride mingles at cocktail hour or the grand entrance. And I don't think there's a rule for this or veils so do it however you want to.

I think once ceremony and pictures are done is good. You dont want it dragging on the floor in cocktail hour etc especially if its a lot of dress! Mine is too. But really your day up to you

I thought It was supposed to be bustled before cocktail hour, like when your pics are done, and the veil comes off after the first dance

I'm bustling my dress after our first dance. Not wearing a veil so I'm not much help there lol.

we bustled my dress after pictures, right before cocktail hour. i had a very long train so it was hard to walk around in, lol. i also took my veil off after pictures were over, didn't wear it for my first dance

Taking off long veil(planning on having a short and long one) and bustling after the first dance. There will be a loop to wear on my wrist to hold my train up and the veil will somehow go over my shoulder during the first dance.
Yes, it will probably be awkward, but I want the full effect of the dress for the first dance!

I was bustled after pics were done and before I went to CH. I kept my veil on all night it was fingertip length and way to pretty to take off

I think Im going to bustle mine before the first dance cause I think it will get in the way. Im leaving my veil on for the first dance. Woohoo you are so close!! Cant wait till Sat!!!

I plan to bustle after the ceremony, but my veil I might wear during the first dance. It seems to be such a waste to only get to wear it for half an hour!!

My dress was bustled right after the ceremony before I went into the CH. All my pictures were done before the ceremony.

I bustled after my pictures just before the entrance to the reception.

I was going to wait until after our first dance but when we went into cocktail hour to say our hellos (highly rec. doing this bc then we had our whole reception to dance) ppl kept remarking that I should bustle. It was getting annoying. I wound up having it bustled before we walked in. I think it would have gotten in the way of the dance anyway.

Before your entrance or cocktail hour, don't know the order of your event. You should only have the train for pics and ceremony, too much in the way otherwise.

whatever is comfortable for you. i bustled right before cocktail hour, so before the first dance. i also bustled the veil and took it off right after the first dance as well.
