Busty Girls

To all my busty girls.

What are you wearing under your dress and where are you going to get it.

I am wearing a halter dress and am going to need a minimizing bra/corsette combo.

Any suggestions

I have always gotten my strapless long-line bras from Miriams in East Meadow on Hempstead Tpke. She is the sweetest lady and does the alterations to make it fit you perfectly.

For the last wedding I was in, she added a narrow strap for me. So I am sure she can do something for a halter, if you need more support.

My friend got her dress at Lillette's and they recommended Mary's in Woodbury. I haven't been there yet.

I might go to brooklyn at Allysissa Bridal......

Oooo the biggest argument happen when i was fitting my dress on, when the sales lady said, I did not need a bra...because the dress is very tight at the waist../Stomach area...

But, then another lady said, I need a full sweatheart bra...

But, I would love to sew in cups... But, I am not sure if it will looked jacked up to my chin

I also have a halter type dress, I got mine from georgettes in Hicksville. Its a long line strapless,
just thought baout the back being exposed, I hope it works, guess I'll find out when my dress comes in

I never even thought of that, and I have HUGE pillows!!! Thanks for the advice.

PS - my FI calls me Busty LaRoo!!!

I waited at Mary's Corsetierres for 2 hours only to find out they couldn't accomodate my chest. They ended up sending me to Georgettes in Hicksville. They had what I needed. (I now get all my bras there.)

Can someone tell me where Georgette's is? I am always in Plainview so I can easily get to Hicksville. Does anyone know if they carry Le Mystere bras? Do they alter them for you?

Georgette's is acroos from Grumman. I think on 106 or 107. There is a Waldbaums and an Applebee's in the shopping center right before Georgette's. I'm not sure the address.

THAT'S wher it is? I had no idea! my mom goes to that Waldbaum's all the time.

I want to wait till closer to the wedding, but I should go there when I am home one day.
