So Saturday we went to the Woodbury commons and finished the bridesmaids gifts AND my mom bought us our everyday dinner set, service for 12 which is what she is giving us for the shower. I've been drooling over it since it came out last summer. See pictures below she got us a serivce for 4 in each color so we can mix and match PLUS the teapot (can't find the pic)
and today we went saree shopping for the indian wedding FH is in on July 21st. The groom and his mother were nice enough to come with us so we made sure that I got the appropriate thing.
OMG some of the stuff that we saw was but BEAUTIFUL. I don't have any pics but I ended up getting a red and gold punjab suit, FH will be wearing mostly ivory with red embriodery so the groom said it would be best for me to wear red. I think this wedding is going to be so exciting, I can't wait!
I saw those and I loved them!! I want those sooo bad. Good choice

It should be so nice to be a guest at a wedding of a different culture. I love watching the wedding story and seeing all the traditions...soooo cool that you guys get to go to one...Can't wait to hear all about it.

Thanks! But even if we were leaving later you still couldn't see us all dressed up because there are people at the hotel who apparently have to 'dress him' :::shugging shoulders:::: and they actually have to wrap the turban on his head and stuff. But have no fear I will document the ENTIRE events with pictures and possibly video

I've taken over the DVR in the bedroom...there is nothing on there saved except Platnium weddings, wedding story, whose wedding is it anyway?, bridezilla...LOL I can't ever find time to watch them all...LOL

actually the ceremony is at a hotel and then the reception is at a country club in connecticut
