Busy Busy Weekend

Well, as some of you read my FSIL was hospitalized. Just to give you a quick update, her tests came back negative, so she gets to go home today BUT for the next 4 weeks she is not allowed to sit.

FH took off from work Thursday and Friday. Originally we were going to go to AC, but we had such a hard time booking a room, that I just said forget it. Instead we focused on wedding.

We booked BodyRock on Thursday.

Visited a RJ limos on Friday and got a really good quote. I also tried reserving the church on Friday, but the books aren't available until 2010. Both my mom and his mom are pretty active in the church, so they're going to find out the exact day the books are available so we can go there. I did find out the 'donation' right now is $500 which is lower than I expected.

Saturday we signed the contract for North Ritz!! We also visited with friends and watched their weddng video...now FH who went from videos are a waste of money to wanting a videographer at my house AND his house before the wedding.

We were on such a roll this weekend, FH was ready to go to Tri-County to pick out rings. If only we had the navigation in the car! LOL.

as far as the church, i know my church didn't have a 2010 book either, so they just put me in the back of the 2009 book for now...

congrats on booking your limos! RJs is actually right near my house so maybe i will check them out as well when i decide to go limo shopping..

Wow you are busy! Congrats on getting so much done.

My church didnt have a book for 2010 yet (and we booked back in Feb). They wrote it at the end of the 2009 book for us though, to hold the spot. Have you asked if there's a way to make you they hold the date for you?

BTW, Tri-County is in Levittown on Hempstead Turnpike.... for the next time you're over that way.

I'm another bride who got her church to book (and re-book... I changed my date) her 2010 wedding. My priest was fine with it. He just put us first in his file, and in the back of the 2009 book.

I'm not even all that active in the church and we had no problem, so you shouldn't have ANY problem.
