Busy day ahead!!! - Update

Today I have to go get a mani/pedi for the wedding I'm in tomorrow, I have a hair trial with Jen the Hair Genie (she did the hair for twoty) and then back out to find a dress for my shower. I am determined to find one today!!!!

I'll post pics of the hair trial when I get back!!


UPDATE


Soooo after 10 hours of shopping I still don't have a dress!!! I've never ever had this much of an issue finding something!!! !

And as for the hair trial she completely forgot I was coming today but she agreed to do it at 5:30AM tomorrow for my friend's wedding. So I guess that worked out.

Sooooo after being out of the house all damned day all I got accomplished was a mani & pedi!!!!

It's at the Crescent Beach Club up in Bayville.

I contacted her at one point to do a trial for me, and she got back to me 4 months later
but from seeing all the pix of girls she did - she really knows what she's doing, so that all that matters

where did u look for a dress? what exactly kind of style ur looking for?

I'm hoping the hair is AWESOME and if it lasts all day in 90degree weather I'll be sold.

I've looked at Macy's, Lord and Taylor, Nordstroms, Bloomies, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor Loft, The Limited, Arden B, Anthropology, BCBG, Century 2, Cache, Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole...

I've been to the outlets, Walt Whitman and Roosevelt Field...

I'm sure there are more stores but I can't even think of them right now...

I'm looking for something that isn't strapless or has thin straps. Thicker straps or something that is essentially sleeveless if that makes any sense. I'm not a huge fan of patterns I'm more of a solid color kinda gal or simple patterns are ok. As for the length it has to be knee length, I don't want to opening gifts and be putting on a show for everyone at the same time LOL!!!!
