Busy Florist Weekend

I am finally going to look and book some vendors in the next couple of weeks. I have decided to start with florists first. I like to shop around so I will be visiting Pedestals, Flowers by Michelle and Flowers By Brian.

Should I print out pics to show them what I want or will their potfolios have everything I am looking for?

How long does the florist visit usually take?

Any additioanl info I need to know before I book?

Well Im partial to Flower Michele (I Love John!) But I would say if you have an idea of what you want, take a few pictures with you incase they dont have it in their portfolio.

Im also going to be visiting alot of florist this wedding. A wedding planner recently told me that you should take a swatch of your colors to your visits. Best of luck

Its okay Ticky...It happens to me too. I feel like a freshman on this board. its so weird to come from the EBP boards where I have over 1000 something posts and come here and no one knows me...except you...IM REAL!!! I SWEAR!!!!!

Bring pictures, for sure! It really helps.

You know I AM REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!, lol, from the many years I've known you, and you know my polka dot dress is real too!!

Bringing pictures can help...i didnt bring pics though and it was fine...I told her the color of the bm's dresses...and with the flowers well luckily what we wanted they had as a cp in the show room but for Bok's i explained what i had in mind and she showed me a bunch of pics on the comp and different looks she can do with my ideas.

We were there for hmmm about 45mins to an hour.

Yes John at the Howard Beach FBB was really nice when we met with him.. also we booked with FM so I am biased there.. Barbara is a doll to work with.

Imo all you need is ideas of what you want.. if you happen to know what colors you want that's also good or what particular flowers you want in CP, Bok, etc. is also good.
