But... who lights the candles?!?!

But... who lights the candles?!?!

Okay, I have a totally ridiculous question.

I'm doing my own centerpieces and they're flowerless, which means there's LOTS of candles.

My reception is in the same location (but different room) as my ceremony, with an hour-long cocktail hour in between, also in a different room.

My question is, who and WHEN will all the candles be lit by? If they're lit too early, they'll probably burn out (most are tea lights). But will they give me the option of lighting all the candles before they let everyone into the reception hall? Or will they let my mom do it, if not me?

I guess I'm also wondering even when a florist drops off centerpieces, if they have candles in them, who lights them and when do they get lit by?

I'm talking ten tea lights on each table. I don't want to make any enemies!! :(

RH lights them, usually during the cocktail hour.

The hall will most likely do that for you, or they should! Your MD or Bridal Attendant is there to serve!!

Just a tip, you can buy special long burning t lights, you might want to also look into that so you arent so worried.
