It really just hit me my daddy won't be walking me down the aisle since he's deceased. I was thinking about the music and the dances and I somehow started listening to Butterfly Kisses and started to cry. I always thought we'd dance to that song and it just reminds me of my dad. It has been 10 years but I really haven't had any major events in that time. I don't want to be this crying mess on my wedding day!!!

Awwwww...this is a tough one, but you WILL get through it! I know that even if he isn't physically there that day....he will be there to see his baby walk down the aisle. Keep your chin up, and remember, whether he is still with us or not....he has prob been dreaming of your wedding day just as long as you have

That song makes me tear up everytime. I'm so sorry you lost your father but like the other girls said, he wouldn't miss your day for the world and he will be there beaming proudly.
I know I will be a mess that day too...we're women, not robots!

I know how you feel. I just cried reading your post. My dad will be gone 21 years this November and I cry every time I think of him. I was the baby and we had a special bond. I KNOW he'll be there that day. He's with me everyday. So I believe your dad is just as happy as mine watching us plan our lives and start our new families.
Remember... On the day.. WATERPROOF EVERYTHING! hehehehhe Don't wanna ruin the makeup!
