I found out that kid's tuxes are as much as adults!! $100 per tux! Is it better to just buy? I saw some online for $50...

The only problem with buying that I can see is that they will outgrow it, and then what do you do with it? Donate it? Sell it? With a rental, it may be more, but the next day you return it, and that's the end of the story.....

I was trying to think of other alternatives like dressing the boys in vest and pants/shorts combo..think it looks so cute.
I saw some pictures of the suspender look. I want the boys to feel comfortable and to look cute...

check out burlington coat factory or ebay..
i got my nephew a black suit from burlingotn and then rented just the vest , shirt and tie for $35.. i wanted him to look like DH..
no one will notice and they will look cute either way!!
you may even find a vest in burlington that matches what you are looking for..
check my album there is a pic of him.. we ended doing no jacket because it would have been too hot and annoying for him..

my ring bearer cried when he had to give back his tux with the last wedding he was in so we want to buy him one as his bridal party gift.
we're not sure where to get it from though. any suggestions??

i found plenty of tuxes on ebay for like $30! that's pretty amazing. yes, they'll outgrow it in a second, but is it worth renting the tux for $100 just for a few hours and have the hassle of returning it after the wedding?

That's true about the tuxes costing almost as much as the adults; Deb and I talked to tux reps at a Bridal Show this past Sun. Did you know that ringbearer tuxes can come in washable fabrics? Mary MOB

hehehe for some reason this cracked me up..if only adult tuxes are washable as well!!!

We bought it from SYMS. The rental from Mens Wearhouse was about 100 something.

at the flea markets they can have RB tuxes for $45 so my brother said he is going to buy my nephew the one instead of renting.

We told our RB's parents to totally buy his tux - wayyyy cheaper and who cares if he never wears it again - the rental costs more and you have the hassle of having to return it too!
In the end though, they had trouble finding a tux that fit him well (he was two different sizes for the jacket and the pants) and they still needed to find shoes for him etc., so they did rent it. Cost more and they had to go out to LI to get fitted, to pick up, and to drop off - but for them it made more sense.
Still, I'd really suggest buying the tux for the RB if they can find one that fits!

It was cheaper for us to buy one for my nephew (who was only 1 years old). I got it for less than $50 at Tri-County

Oh- I never thought of Syms. You you recall how much they were?
I saw them for like $25 in Estelles. I think it included the shirt too and def, the bowtie.
I think we are gonna buy one for my RB and just rent the vest/tie that matched FH.
For shoes, I told my sister to just get him payless shoes and let him wear sneakrs at the reception. He is only 3 though.

my SIL bough our ring bearer's tux at the attias flea market! it was only $35!!!!!!! if we would've rented it, it would've been $125! here's a pic...it's not THAT clear of a photo, but he looked absolutely adorable!
Just wanted to let you know, I bought a little tux at the Baron's booth in Tri-County. The quality was good and it fits my little ring bearer perfectly. It was $39.00.
