Did anyone go to a reputatable bridal salon who didn't carry your manufacturer but they volunteered to get the gown you want for you? My daughter loved the salesgirls at Adriane's in Islip and when she found the gown she wants elsewhere we called them and they said they can get it for her. Their price is excellent but how risky is it to do that? Any feed-back on Adriane's would really be appreciated.

Re: Buying a bridal gown from an unauthorized dealer
I didn't get my bridal gown from Adriennes but my mom, my future mom-in-law, and all my bridesmaids got theirs there. They were extremely nice and accomadating (my bm has a baby and when she went to get measured the baby was a sleep in the car and the saleslady at Adriennes actually came out to her car to do her measurements so the baby wouldn't have to wake up!!!). Plus, the prices are pretty good-my mom got a Vera Wang gown for a great price. Everything came in sooner than expected so I was pleased with their service.

Bridal Suite tried to tell me that the reason they never orded my dress was because they got it through a dress consolidator. That is probably would they are talking about.
