buying a house - need engineer recommendation

Can anyone recommend a home-inspection engineer? We are purchasing a home and would like to get an engineer ASAP!

i am at work now and can get the number for you when you get home - did your real estate agent have any recommendations? also- we just found out we have to get a termite inspection as well, just to be on the safe side b/c the engineer cant do that. so you might as well be looking for that too!

Yes, you're right, we also need a termite inspection.

The only real estate agent involved is the listing / seller's agent. We did not make the offer through a buyer's agent. I'm therefore hesitant to use an engineer she would recommend. We haven't asked her for a recommendation. My parents' friends are realtors, so my parents are asking them for a recommendation as well.

would appreciate that we do not have posts on BHB pointing to other boards. defeats the purpose of multiple boards and makes wedding research a real chore with non wedding related topics on BHB. You might want to post this on LIFamilies.com.
