My mother found my dress online at House of Brides for about $500 cheaper than at the salon. Does anybody have any input or advice about buying or not buying their dress online?

Have you tried the dress on in a salon? I would only consider buing on line if you know how the dress will fit you.
do you have a place you can have altertins done if you get it on line?

yes i found the dress at the salon but its cheaper online...i'm hoping when I tell them this they will go down on the price because i really want to buy through them. I'm just worried it might be a knock-off...

I agree that you need to be very careful when buying a dress online... some sites are very sneaky when wording about the dress, saying it is exactly LIKE the dress... meaning its not really.
I have not used this site, but google it and see what other review sites pop up. I know every good company has bad reviews, but I found a lot of bad reviews for this website enough that I wouldn't order my dress through there. If every location has a certain price, and one place has a ridiculously reduced charge.. there is something fishy.
