Ok went dress shopping today and found two gowns i like (not love cause I love my reception dress and now im just looking for one for the church- long story)
Anyhow the two salons up here in Poughkeepsie wanted 8-900 dollars for them and i dont want to spend that much , especially since i only like them.
I found them on a website for about 300 less- so whats the general consensus on buying something like a gown online.?????

Re: Online purchases
As long as you have a good seamstress- go for it! Make sure you buy from a reliable one though such as Bridesave.com.

Re: Buying gown online???
If I absolutely was sure of the designer and the size, and I had a great seamstress I might do it! Especially if the cost was lower...duh!

Try netbride.com or houseofbrides.com. My friend got her dress from netbride and everything was fine.
