Buying Samples!

Ok, so whats the deal with buying a sample dress? Most of the samples ive ever seen, i wouldnt really think to buy because their pretty dirty if not also ripped, little pulls, etc.

so, is it just that at sample sales, they try to pick the best of what they have and sell it for a reduced rate?

also since im on extremely limited time, if their isnt currently a sample sale going on, can i usually still offer to purchase a sample? will they usually let you? id be interested probally in something that is a much newer sample though so its not all messed up so do you think that would bring down the chances of them selling it to me (i would even pay full price if its like brand new)

i can't really totally answer your question...because i don't know how often they're willing to sell their samples. however, i know at kleinfeld's at leats they would NEVER sell a damaged sample. i got a sample dress (not at a sample sale) but it was new and discontinued...

At lillettes they told me they'd let me buy a sample- I think it was 30% less, but it was too short for me!

you can usually buy a sample dress at a discounted price and then they can steam clean it for you!

I don't think any store would turn you down if you offered to buy a sample. Remember, a sale is a sale!

Yea, I bought a sample dress and the dress just came in. It was a new style and I got a greattttttttt price. .
