this is getting out of hand!!! i understand about wanting people to eat healthy but THEY ARE KIDSSSSSSSS let them have their damn candy!! if my kid got suspended for that i would call the principal and laugh at them and let them know there are worse things to worry about than skittles!!!!! \ now if its against the rules then fine punish them but to strip him of being calls vice prez and not allowed to join in any of the honors programs he worked so hard at..............thats going overboard i feel really bad for the poor kid!

Heather, I agree things are getting out of hand. There's rules, but there should also be mercy, especially in the case of Skittles. If the kid was an Honor Student, why didn't they believe him, when he said he didn't know about the rule. For pete's sake, how many students actually read those handbooks?? Mary MOB

that is just crazy!! The poor kid is probably so upset. I wish they would think about the mental state of this kid now! He probably worked hard to be the vice president of his class and they take it away due to CANDY! So silly!
