By the 1 year mark...

Next Friday is our one year mark (whoa...) and I'm curious what you all had done by the time your one year mark came around. It would help to know what you all had done. I don't know whether I'm behind or not!

So far I've got the obvious church and reception hall of course, the dress purchased, the wedding party picked, DJ, photographer/videographer booked and makeup artist booked. Our florist told us to come back after Valentine's Day to talk flowers since there's so much time, lol (this was in late August I think). Before next Friday hits, we are working on limo company & photobooth, and for myself, contacting a recommended hair lady.

I'm passed my one year mark and you have more done than me.. All I have is bridal party picked, venue, officiant and photo booked. Working on dress now and then on to flowers.

Church, venue, DJ, photo, video, hotel block, hair and makeup, florist, bridesmaid dresses, my dress, veil, headpiece, guest list, save the date design, and a bunch of smaller stuff (hangers, bridesmaid jewelry, etc.)

By my one year mark I will have DEFINITELY:

Venue
Photographer
DJ
Dress

I'm hoping to also have:
Hotel block
Florist
Limo

I've also made smaller purchases like glass vases for my centerpieces... my thank you/mr and mrs signs, started collecting mercury glass vases. Two of my five BMs have already picked out their dresses :)

By the 1 year mark...

I had all vendors booked by the 1 year mark in addition to hotel block. The'big' things that are left are MOG and BM dresses, invites and favors. At this point i also have DIY stuff left to do like my save the dates, wedding wands, menus, programs, signature drink sign, table numbers.

i've also made some smaller purchases like the wire hangers for my BMs, i've been collecting glass vases for our centerpieces, i picked up a few chalkboards, and i'm almost done collecting supplies for my cry packs.

we're doing our engagement photos next week, so STDs will go out in November.

I have everything booked except video limo and centerpieces. We also need to do bridesmaid and groomsmen attire as well as small stuff invites etc

My one year mark is in 4 days! I can't believe it! We have booked: church, reception, flowers, photo, video, and dj/band.
I also have purchased my dress, hangers, wedding poppers, place cards, and other little things for the wedding.
I feel like I have so much more to do!!

i don't think it's necessarily too early to send them out, particularly if you are doing a fall-themed STD. can you maybe wait until late november to send them? people should definitely not be confused which october unless they are completely dumb.

You're only a few weeks after me and you have a lot more done than I do! I think you're really ahead!

So far I have:
Church
Reception
Photographer
Flowers
DJ
Hair
I have the hotel, but need to wait until this October is over for official rates
Took engagement pictures, waiting for proofs
Made STD template, need picture(s)

I'm sending my STD's in November around Thanksgiving time. It's a smidgen early, but I have a lot of people traveling from CA to NY (myself included at this point if I don't move the eff back!) so I think the earlier the better since they'll need to make travel arrangements before invitations go out.

Venue, Church, dress, DJ, make up and hotel block. Next month I'm going to look at photographers/videographers and work on my save the dates.

Right now, I have Venue, Church, Photographer/Video, Wedding Party Picked.

I'm working on having the DJ by the end of this month, and by my 1 year mark I'd like to have my dress purchased, the bridesmaids dresses narrowed down, the florist booked, and hair/make up. E-Pics are 12/26 (can't wait!) and I hope to have STDs out no later than March.

I work tax seasons, and basically lose all the time from February 1-April 15th, and then need at least a month to recover (it sounds crazy but any brides who work in accounting should be able to relate lol). Losing almost three months in planning, I'd like to have as much done by the end of 2013 as possible so that I don't miss a beat when I start again in May. :)

date twin!!!!

I have venue,dj,florist,hair,limo,church with precana completed, photo/video, save the dates out :) and gathering my centerpeices I have tons of decorations i'm working on getting along the way.

And now its all on hold until we close on our house next month !!!!! ahhhh :)
