We're doing this, not cabs but we're having charter buses take guests from church to the hall and then from the hall to the after party. I don't want anyone driving while intoxicated and I want everyone to be able to have a great time and not worry about driving so we're hiring a couple of buses.

That's awesome!! We are going to do something similar. I'm not sure exactly what yet but definitely something!! Great idea-- thanks for posting and sharing

Thats a really good idea. I was thinking about having pick-up and drop off service but I haven't really looked into prices yet.

A 55 Seater charter bus w/a bathroom runs anywhere b/w $700 - $1000 each for the day. We'll need 2 or 3 of them. If you have everyone on the bus give the drivers good tips, they let you bring beer on the bus too!!

We're getting a bus to shuttle people back and forth between the hotel, church, and reception. I don't want to think about how expensive it will be, but we need to do it. Most of our friends and family are coming in from OOT, and they'll either get lost or be too drunk to drive!

Nice but I doubt cabs will be going all the way out to Brooklyn!!

I love that idea with the frame and letting everyone know there will be a shuttle....

I don't want the drinking and driving thing...Freaks me out! we are trying to do something with a shuttle bus 2....will see how the prices go!

I was thinking about doing a bus for everyone.. How else will the BP get home?!?! 8oD

Most of our BP is out of town as well as a lot of our guests since my FI is from Staten Island. We decided to get a shuttle bus that will transport everyone to and from the hotel to the reception. It was alot of money but so worth it. I wont have to stress that day how everyone is getting home or if anyone is lost.

we are thinking of having big charter buses for the guests going from FH's house to the hall.

FH doesnt want anyone to be driving home drunk, esp since his fam lives in Brooklyn and its abt an hr ride to the Watermill.
