Cablevision or Fios ?

Cablevision or Fios ?

So FH and I are moving into our new apt on the 15th YAY!!!

Question we are trying to decide cablevision or Fios..
I thought I would bring this question to the fabulous LIW ladies because we research everything in and out and know the pros and cons...

what did you choose and why?

pros/cons?

price? (don't tell if you dont want.. you can say expensive or inexpensive)

FIOS

Offers more than cablevision - less expensive thus far for FIOS

No problems with service, thus far - many problems with cablevision

I had Time Warner prior to Fios. I am a fan of Fios, it doesn't lag the way Time Warner did. Cost is pretty similar, Fios a tad cheaper.

I like FIOS, more channel options!!

I have time warner now. I like it just fine! I won't switch because my complex just got FIOS installed (new homes) and a lot of the residents say its not working properly. I'll switch when it gets fixed!

fios...cablevision makes you pay extra for certain channels included in fios....fios is awesome i

Crashing!

I miss Fios!!!!! I am forced to use cablevision! Fios is cheaper when it comes to getting movie channels. The internet is much faster. There is no lag when I download stuff and play games.

I'm partial to Cablevision myself, but that could be because I got royally screwed by Fios ...

I never have a problem with internet service on Cablevision. I can be on the web, downloading music, games, chatting on Facebook, etc, while FH is playing on his Xbox with people all over the country, and we never have a lag. It might actually depend on location.
