Cabo San Lucas?

We are thinking about going to Cabo in December... Does anyone know any great places to stay? Is Christmas time much more expensive?

Any info will help! Thanks!

I am going the week before for my Honeymoon- just for fun I wanted to compare prices for x-mas week- there weren't really any rooms anywhere

I think that is the big week- a lot of people for CA go there for the holiday's

good luck- go to travelocity and see what comes up- let me know if you have any questions

We have a timeshare there at Playa Grande Resort. We absolutely LOVE it! We have also stayed at the Solmar which is next door to it. It is on the ocean side of the town so its private beaches (no peddlers) but you can't swim there. To walk into town was 5 - 10 minutes. The view from the rooms is just ocean.....

We're going there in November for our honeymoon and staying at Dreams Resort. Its all inclusive (which is what we were looking for)
here's the website if you want to check it out

When i was researching where to stay there, there were a lot of really really nice places. Trip Advisor did help, but as with anything you have to take that site with a grain of salt... You will always find someone to complain about something, so you have to see if the majority of complaints are about similar items and are legitimate.

We went there last year for New Years and stayed at the Melia resort. I think it was about 5k for both of us for 6 nights, all inclusive and including airfare.

The Melia was okay... Great pool, but the food options were slim and you couldn't really lay out on the beach because the sand was gravel.

The best day for us was taking the local bus into town ($1 each way) and doing a sunset sail into the Pacific ocean, well worth the $40 or so it cost.

Oh, and December/January is the most expensive time to go. But that is pretty much true of any location (except Alaska maybe).
