cabo san lucas swimming

We are looking into a Cabo for October....

For all those that have been there already...are there any hotels that have safe swimming?

we would like to go snorkeling and lay on the beach -- cabo seems to be one of the few places not in hurricane belt but we heard the water is too rough....any suggestions?

I've been to Cabo twice - it's beautiful there. You can't really swim there which is a bummer. Stay at the Hilton - it's gorgeous and they are one of the few hotels with a swimmable beach!
