Okay, I wasn't really thrilled with how my 1st hair and makeup trial went and I can't spend too much so I was trying to think of other options.....
Has anyone been to the the Cactus in Commack for Wedding Day Makeup & Hair? If so, please post feedback on how it went and who is good!

I go to the one in commack for cuts and blow outs as well as mani's and pedi's. I love the place and have never had a bad cut/blow out with anyone.

Yeah? Do you have any idea who is good at updo's and/or makeup there?
I used to go there all the time also to get highlights by Maxine...but I moved so now I go to another Cactus...

YES, I WAS IN MY FREINDS WEDDING, HEATHER WAS GREAT! I highly recommend her.

I used Michelle for hair and make up & loved it. I also had 7 other ladies get their hair done. Everyone seemed very happy. Two people got their makeup done by an older makeup lady and they felt it was a little heavy but easily fixable.

I don't know which Cactus in Commack you are talking about, but I know that Sarah Rock works in the Mayfair Cactus. She is doing my hair, but at my home. She works with Jillian from gorgeous faces. Anyway, she did an awesome job at my trial. I am not sure if she does the updos at the salon too, but it can't hurt to call and find out.

My sister used Michelle, she did hers, my mothers and 4 bridesmaids, and all of our hair came out great, and stayed. However, she called my sister the Thursday before the wedding demanding more money per person, or she wouldn't show up. So GET A CONTRACT.
