Caesars Pocono Resorts

I tried to book a room for Fri & Sat of July 4th weekend, but they have a 3 night min. on a holiday weekend. Our wedding is July 3rd and we're having a bunch of out of town guests come in, so my parents are hosting a BBQ on the 4th. I can't very well just leave all the out of town guests without going to the BBQ. No one would make an exception for us under the circumstances, so I told them that I WILL NEVER STAY AT ONE OF THEIR RESORTS OR SPEND A DIME THERE EITHER!!!!!!!!! I am so p1ssed you can not believe!!!!

That's really disappointing.

But in all honesty, a lot of places have that policy for holiday weekends.

I think they may have that policy all year round for some of thier resorts. We have gone every year for the past four years, and that is how we have to book also.

Sorry you had such a bad experince with them.

I wouldn't be too upset about it. It is actually a very common rule for a resort to have a mininum of nights you must stay - I even think that disney hotels have a minimum of 3 nights as well. I'm sorry that it won't work for you - but I don't think you should be angry at them.

It is common for people to have a brunch after the wedding - I have only been to one that the actual couple was there - most of the time the couple has left for their honeymoon - they are basically an opportunity for family to visit just a little longer. I doubt your guests would be offended if you two wanted to start your honeymoon. I know I would understand.

I agree with everyone. Its common policy for hotels and resorts to ask for a 3 night minimum stay or sometimes more. Especially around the holidays.

I go there all the time and I LOVE it there & I do know that that IS their policy!

It is a WONDERFUL place to go (Paradise Stream is my favorite) and FH promises that we will go 2 times a year on out mini-moons......lol
