I think it was ok at best and I felt kind of cramped too.

Re: CAFE BACI
I have heard bad things from people who know real italian food. But if you don't, it is probably decent.

Re: CAFE BACI
I love Baci..it's one of our favorite restaurants, but I know a lot of other people on here who don't.
My advice: get there early! The wait there is ridiculous. We have waited an hour and more to eat there, and the bar area is extremely crowded.

Re: CAFE BACI
Baci is good- it was around the corner from where I used to work so we used to go for lunch. For dinner it's a mess though- very little parking, no reservations and a very small bar area. We've met friends there in the past b/c it's a central location for us and our friends in Queens and we waited over an hour standing in the bar- not fun.
Cafe Spasso (sp?) is down the road- same owners, pretty much the same food- more parking and a bigger waiting area.

Re: CAFE BACI
I like it, but agree with some of the other posters. We only go there when we are going for an early dinner. They don't take reservations, it can be a long wait, and it gets pretty packed and at times a little loud. Parking is a pain in the butt. We also tried Spazzo and it was pretty good too.

Don't like it. Try Spazzo's or Vincent's in Garden City.

Re: CAFE BACI
I really like it. the food is good and they'll make you basically anything you want. The wait can be long if you have a large group though. The only weird thing is that their marinara sauce has meat in it...
