Our venue does not include cake so we went with an outside bakery ... sooooooooo good! But yes, we are doing each tier a different flavor and filling. They were so good we couldnt decide?!?!

Re: cake!!
Sometimes they charge extra for different layers being different flavors so ask.
Also I can't eat the cake so I have no input on the flavors though I know there won't be strawberry filing haha!

Re: cake!!
We did chocolate cake and the filling was cannoli w/ choc chips. It was a-ma-zing.
At our RH, it would have been an upgrade to do diff flavors in diff tiers. We had a full VH with everything you could possibly think of, plus breakfast, so we chose not to upgrade the cake.
Rolling Pin is sooo yummy!

Re: cake!!
just like MongieToBe said below, i found rolling pin bakery to be SERIOUSLY YUMMY! the owner is local, which i like, and has a young family of his own so he 'gets it.' their cakes are always fresh and they make everything from scratch with no artificial ingredients.
yes, i was a royal PAIN IN THE BUTT when i was ordering my cake. but i wanted it to be exactly how i imagined it all these years. it was a custom cake and i had requirements about every little layer and filling and frosting and flower. but i think it's justified. anyway, my cake came out PERFECT and i just had the greatest experience with these guys. any upgrades were more than fairly priced. the rolling pin website with pics of cakes is www.rollingpinbakery.com.

We are getting pineapple cake, raspberry buttercream and amaretto cake. All in the same layer. It is TO DIE FOR!!!
I'm still trying to convince my fiance to get another layer with some chocolate cake, but so far, no can do.

We did yellow cake with cannoli cream. We didn't actually get to eat any of it that day, but I heard it was delicious!

Re: cake!!
my sister had different flavors in the different tiers and my dad got upset when he couldn't get the flavor that he wanted because it was gone..... so to fix that each slice will have chocolate mouse and canoli with chocolate chips
