Cake at the RD

What is everyone doing or has done with regards to the RD and dessert.

My menu includes dessert....do i have to buy a cake in addition?

what is everyone doing or have done? or is it up to me?

I ordered a Groom's cake for FH, that is our dessert for the RD.

My RD didn't include dessert so I'm going to do something special for FH.

We're having the grooms cake at the wedding, not the RD, so we're just having the restaurant provide regular dessert, no cake.

My friend provided a cake for her RD. I think the restaurant provided one as well.

I don't know what I will do yet. Most places will provide you with a dessert as part of the meal you are paying for.

Ours provides dessert, can't remember off the top of my head but I think it's something small like assorted fruit and cookies or something, I am also having a groom's cake for FH

Our restaurant will include fresh fruit for dessert and I'm bringing in the grooms cake.

We just had it as part of the menu -- DH chose carrot cake for the RD since it was the only dessert we weren't having at the wedding.

Do what you want, I'm doing the 'grooms' cake that night because, let's face it there will be soooo much dessert at the reception it would just be overkill.
