Ok, I probably sound clueless, but......are you supposed to register for those? Do you generally get them as a gift? Do you buy them yourself? I was going to buy them and I know someone told me, oh wait until after your shower.

I put both on my registry. Seeing how I'm a registry peeker , I know I'm getting the cake cutter. If I don't get the unity candle at my shower, I'll buy it myself.

I bought mine myself because I just couldn't wait but my FMIL told me that I should have put on my registry. I guess it depends on what you want to do...

A relative bought us the cake set as an engagement gift and I made my unity candle.
