Hello Ladies,
Does anyone know of another song besides 'The Bride Cuts the Cake,'
I like the idea about the whole cake cutting thing, but the Farmer in the Dell has to go

Is there another song???

umm, well there's always 'Sugar' by the Archies...

And, what I'm pulling for (even though I get looks every time) is that 80's metal song that goes 'pour some sugar on me (in the name of love)'

I thought it might be interesting....

umm, well there's always 'Sugar' by the Archies...

And, what I'm pulling for (even though I get looks every time) is that 80's metal song that goes 'pour some sugar on me (in the name of love)'

I thought it might be interesting....

i like that idea!!! as long as no one's jumping outta the cake, no one should give you looks!

Oh wait, sorry, this is the wedding, not the bachelor party

Kev went for my idea too... his words were 'anything but that stupid bride cuts the cake song. And if you smear frosting on you i'll end the marriage right then and there.'

ok... i was going to try to not go off on this tangent, but i have to share this, b/c it was such an awesome moment.

last night @ the wedding, mike and i had gotten into a little, let's call it a 'tiff'... so i was upset with him and went out on the balcony. So there had been a wedding outside downstairs, and all of a sudden the band plays 'i want to grow old with you'. and mike, who hates to dance, and HATES even more to be the center of attention, ask me to dance with him, right there, with like all these people around us, the 2 of us just slow dance to the song in the middle of the balcony.

ok, kinda cheesey,,, but it was so romantic... it seemed like no one else was around us. oh yeah, we didnt fight again after that

yeah... i think thats the first time we ever had a moment like that. it was really awesome. especially since there were like 50 or so people around us, and mike didnt care,,, like it was just about 'us'

haha im such a cornball... i get teary eyed just thinking about it
