Our wedding is the 2 weeks away-- and we don't have a cake cutting/serving set yet... do you have to have one or does your reception hall provide one for you if you don't have one? TIA!! All this last min. things are coming to my mind!!

Re: Cake Cutting Set?
Someone gave us one at our e-party. Maybe call your hall and ask, otherwise I've seen them sold any place you can register and any store that sells collectibles, and places like the Wedding Center and Davids Bridal.

I just used the wedding halls set, I didn't think the extra cost was necessary. I just made sure that it was sterling silver so it would look nice.

Re: Cake Cutting Set?
I think most halls have to have a set on hand. I went to through the same thing about 2 weeks before my wedding - I ended up going to Things Remembered and ended buying a really nice one there. I also had it engraved at had it by the next day. I think it cost all together $55.00

I got a set at the Mikasa outlet in Riverhead. I think it cost me less than $15.

We used what our hall provided... I registered for a set and didn't get them so I figured why spend the money. Instead I got a card box which turned out to be indispensable!

Re: Cake Cutting Set?
we only had the knife which I got for my shower. I wanted the keepsake, but the hall has them.
