Cake Filling Question
We are having red velvet cake (its a chocolate cake made with cocoa that is a reddish color so it makes the cake look red & it is sweeter than reg chocolate cake) Anyway, it is traditionally made with cream cheese filling but Tom at Audreys suggested that we use either a cherry or mousse filling since he said cream cheese filling is an acquired taste and some people might not like it. What do you girls think?

i agree i wouldnt go with the cream cheese filling especially if your cake will be your only dessert not all may like it

I second the Rasberry with Choc. mousse, My cake was a choc cake with rasberry and choc mouse. It was amazing.

I vote mousse. I hate when they use raspberry with chocolate - it totally ruins it for me.
