cake flavors...

i ' m not sure what flavor/ fillings to choose?!!!

what is everyone having or had?

here's a few choices ... help!!
* canolli filling
* choc mouss
* choc pudding
* vanilla pudding
* fresh strawberries
* fresh fruits
* cookies and cream
* red velvet

My personal fave is red velvet, but that costs extra at my RH.

We went with yellow cake with raspberry mousse and chocolate ganache and it was a-m-a-z-i-n-g!

i say no to canolli cream (i just don't like it) ... and i'd stay away from mixed fruits (it just seems a little tacky to me because it's like a fruitcake lol)

we're probably doing
one layer of red velvet cake with vanilla filling,
one layer of chocolate cake with banana creme filling,
and one layer of ___ cake with coconut custard filling

mmmm cookie & Cream... this is one of our choices to choose from as well and I can't wait to taste it.

Obviously it would all depend on how everything tastes together but I'm thinking I would like to do a chocolate cake with the cookies & cream filling with buttercream icing.

actually what bakery are you using? Our friends are getting married at the Sandcastle next month so I can tell you what they went with and let you know how the cake tasted (you guys might be using the same baker).

I like the idea of different flavors per layer but i'm not sure if they'll charge us more.

i like red velvet but my colors are purple. lol i'm not sure how red and purple would look ?!?!? or it's not a big deal?!?!
