I need a simple cake at a good price. Can you please tell me or put pictures of your cakes and who you got them from?

Hmm, I'm getting mine from the catering hall and I haven't picked it out yet so I don't have a pic. But try local bakeries, I know you're in Brentwood from another post. Cambell's on Suffolk Ave. (by White Castle) is really good, I'm pretty sure they do wedding cakes. Hope that helps!

I have no clue about LI, but by doing a backyard BBQ style wedding, you have given yourself so many less expensive options in terms of cakes.
you can go the donut cake route, cupcake cakes...or get one from your bakery.
I have read they say you can order a cake for half the number of guests you will be having, then cut half slices. If you want an elaborate cake, you can go that way too and cut you cake price in half from the start. (this is my plan) with all of the food and other goodies, your guests will be grateful for a thinner slice, and you won't see so many half eaten pieces on the table!
