so i just graduated in may with my bachelors in culinary arts and i love baking cakes, all kinds wedding and specialty and my parents are throwing my and FH an engagement party at their house so its not at a place its just a back yard cocktail party with a luau type theme and i wanted to make my own cake so my parents dont have to pay for that too.... but i dont know what to do and i was just wondering if anyone had any cute ideas???

a lot of places use bakerys that make just plain generic cakes.. i like different out of the ordinary cakes.. but if you were to have someone make your cake and bring it in they will most likely charge you a fee of like a dollar a slice just for them to cut the cake.
