I really like this cake (im really into initials - we are having monogram pumkins/jackolanterns). Any way my mom says I cant use it because bows arent my theme - we are not using pew bows - we are using wheat and berries instead. I wanted the cake to be ivory to match my dress and the bow and monogram to be a carmel or chocolate color. We are having red velvet cake. Does my theme have to be bows to use this cake (are bows even a theme)? Thanks
I think it's very pretty!!! and I think the bows are nice - IMO it doesn't have to be part of a theme.

Re: Cake Opinion
It is great!! You do not need bows as theme....a cake and its decorations can stand on its on or be part of an overall theme. You should go with what you like!

Re: Cake Opinion
You don't need a bow theme (which I don't think there is such a thing...unless you really make it one) to do this cake.
It's absolutely beautiful!!! I love the monograms...wish I could get married again...I think I'd make monogram my theme!!!
ETS: If you don't like the bow on top...ask your baker for some other suggestions...I'm sure they can come up with a few.

I was thinking the same thing. Or maybe you don't need anything on top but a cake topper instead. But I do like the rest of the cake.
