Cake prices

How much are you guys paying PP for your wedding cake? Just curious what's average...

I am getting mine through a baker in the family. But the cakes usually go for around 400 or so.

Our baker was charging $450 for a cake to feed 150 people & this included the freezing of the top part for our anniversary- so about $3 a slice.

the average varies and depends on cake type, frosting and design- our design is simple with a few flowers, frosting is buttercream and cake will be white with cannoli cream... fondant costs about $6-8 a slice i think. hth

Honestly I have no clue because its included with the RH. I am going to change a few things so I believe I have to pay about $1.00 per slice to change things.

I just spoke with a vendor to schedule an appointment for a consultation and tasting...they charge $6/pp. Sounds like alot

I asked the hotel where we'll have the reception how much they would charge and it's even more expensive...$8/pp

i've been asked to talk to Lulu's on Union Turnpike, apparently they're really good.. any comments on them?

We're using Lulu's! Charlie does amazing work & their cakes are amazing- never had a bad one & we have been going there since the day they opened!
