Cake question

Cake question

You know the Groom's Cakes that people get that they have made to look like things? I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get something like that and around how much it would cost. I'm looking for something possibly for the rehearsal dinner. I am in western Suffolk, so I don't mind going into Nassau or further into Suffolk. If anyone knows of a good bakery or baker that does that, please let me know. (I hope you guys know what I'm talking about) I tried doing a search, but I really didn't find anything. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I highly recommend Dortoni's in Levittown. Their cakes are AMAZING and I think reasonably priced. I'm going to use them for my Grooms cake. FH is in Construction so i'm thinking Tools or a house or something

Audrey's bakery in East Islip. Do a search for them, a lot of girls used them on here.

I will definitely call both of them, thank you. Do you have any idea approximately how much somthing like that runs? (I know it can be a big range because it depends on the size, etc.)

okay - well i'm doing three cakes (long story) - and i'm getting fondant...so that made it more expensive - but i'm paying $240. Tom with Audrey's bakery also gives an LIW discount & he's a GEM to work with!!!!

I think I may need fondant for what I want to do also. Audrey's would certainly be convenient, I live in East Islip. Do separate layers make more of a difference in price or would more detail do that do you think? He plays this video game online (so do my all of my nephews, my brother, his brother and his son-all in the wedding party) and I would love to recreate something from the game on a sheet cake.

I work in Farmingdale (and grew up there), so I know exactly where that is. I'll contact them, too. I believe my sister got chocolate lolipop favors from them for her wedding years ago and they came out great! Are they expensive?
