we've been looking at cakes in magazines and are starting to know what we might like, but when do we go and meet with the bakery? we're going with the bakery that our RH uses because its black forest and they're just amazing.
I would think 2 months before the wedding. I know I need to give them the design of our cake at the finalizing of the menu for us because the bakery is in the Milleridge Inn Village, so I just have to give a picture to my BM and she will bring it over to the bakery.

I think you go to the bakery a when you make your final menu choices. Im not too sure though I hear that CB, WM and Fox Hollow use Erga and I dont know if she does the cake appointments![]()

Yea it is far, But I know my RH is having a showcase and is having cake tasting that night, you should see if they are having a showcase and ask about a tasting then
our rh does our cake for us. so we pick everything when we pick our menu. they said they have a book we can look through for styles.

we're going to one on the 24th, and we've had cake from black forest before. FMIL is actually asking if we can go to tasting at other bakeries just so she can have some free cake, lol.
I went to Black forest about 2-3 weeks beforehand, and met with Tommy - showed him a pic of the cake, and chose the flavors...
